Austria

Our largest and very popular study abroad program, the Austria program brings 150-200 Franciscan students to the center of Europe every semester. Students participating in this program live and learn in a 14th-century former Carthusian monastery. Classes are taught in English by Franciscan University professors, and students studying in the German Bachelor’s Degree Program will have ample opportunities to immerse themselves in the German language. Weekly travel opportunities make the grand heritage of Western civilization—especially of our Catholic faith—come alive. It is an experience our students and alumni talk about for the rest of their lives. Explore the Austria pages to learn more about the Study in Austria opportunity. >>
