Overcoming Obstacle #1: Me.

Despite efforts to close the gender gap in the workplace, much work remains to be done. Though external factors are part of the equation, personal battles within can undermine our ability to achieve our full potential. Do you ever doubt your ability to succeed or find yourself feeling like an imposter, inadequate for the tasks set before you? Are you tired of watching others around you get promotions while waiting for your own value to be discovered? Do you struggle finding a way to advocate for yourself? How do Christians balance the values of humility and poverty with the desire to excel in the workplace? This presentation will cover methods for overcoming the obstacles we place in front of ourselves by coming to a greater awareness of our unique gifts and abilities and learning how to defend ourselves from a mindset that thwarts our own progress.
